Hi Sarah. Re that article you linked...
Like, in one sense, of course what she says is true. But in another sense, well, there are an awful lot of broken things in the world, and we only have a limited amount of time and money, and demanding that someone take on open-ended obligations to fix the broken things that you care about and not the ones other people might care about is asking for them to give you an awful lot of power. Hmmm... have some other thoughts, will write up on Facebook so I can post to a wider audience....
