"Partnership on AI" announcement
My tentative guess is that the best move at this point is to try to make sure this group is run by actual AI people. The board is nominally made up of LeCun, Corrado, Suleyman, et al., but I very much doubt they're the ones running this at the moment, they're busy writing software and I don't think they'd write in the polished quasi-leftist bureaucratese on the website.
