Epistemological databases
Hi! I'm Alyssa, I'm a programmer/startup founder in Silicon Valley. I've been trying to build what Prof. McCallum calls an "epistemological database" for a few years now, but I discovered fairly recently that you and he had had many of the same ideas long before I did. Me and my team successfully built an ML-based deduplication pipeline for Google's Knowledge Graph, as we hoped that would be a first step in transitioning from manually-curated knowledge to automatic inference, but it was canceled by a vice president who didn't want ML anywhere. Would you mind if I asked some questions about what your ideas were, the research you did, etc? Thanks a lot
