Scopolamine

Not sure what's up with the study you linked, but in higher doses, scopolamine is infamous for causing vaguely schizophrenia-like psychotic states, where sensory data is ignored or heavily distorted and the mind's model imposes itself on reality, creating a dream-like trance where the person interacts with non-existent people, buildings, etc. (while still awake). Stupid people who do not read warnings keep trying to use it as a recreational drug, and then winding up in the hospital because they tried to jump out of a window or whatever.
